Happy Birthday Galaxy Card using Distress Oxide Blending

Today I have a fun colorful card for you!
I made this card for my Father in Law's birthday.

I am a sucker for galaxy anything and I wanted to play with the Distress Oxides and make a galaxy background.

These inks just blend so nice and made the background so easy to put together.
I used Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Wilted Violet and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks and then I used Black Soot Distress Ink along the outside.

I then spritzed water to it to give the faded out spots and then flicked some cheap-o white acrylic paint to create the stars.

I made this a while ago but I'm 99% sure the sentiment is one I got from the Silhouette Design store. After I cut it I put some Wink of Stella Glitter Brush pen to it. I smoothed versa mark onto it and then coated in Recollections Clear Embossing Powder to make it shiny.

I made a matching envelope for it and of course used a Star Trek stamp to mail it off!

Do you love a galaxy look as much as I do?

Thank you for stopping by!
See you next time!

Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny March Card Kit Post 5

Happy Saturday!
Today I have two more cards using the
Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Hopping Along Card Kit.

I was getting down to few larger scraps left and decided to do some panels for this one below featuring the pattern paper and of course that adorable bunny and sentiment
from the provided stamp set.

This one has some more of the pattern paper and some water coloring of the egg stamps. I used my Zig Clean Color brush markers.

I have just one more card design left. Hope you come back to check it out! ;-)

Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny March Card Kit Post 4

Welcome Back!!

I have two more today that are having a focus on that great Echo Park pattern paper that came with the kit.
I kept things fairly simple with these two and wanted to showcase the paper.
I again used sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set that was in the kit and stamped with Versafine ink and heat embossed with Recollections Clear embossing powder.

I loved that carrot paper and just had to pair it with another bunny. I made him more on the darker side this time and again used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers for the water coloring on him.
I stamped the sentiment onto this circle and the background burst from the
MFT Blueprints Die-namics 13 set.  I had to cut apart the stamp to get it to fit. I also used some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Orange Marmalade.

Similar concept with this card with just layering up that great pattern paper.
I used the same circle and burst to put the sentiment onto.
The Chickie is also colored using the zig markers and hard to see but completely coved in Wink of Stella.
I have the sentiment and chick popped up using foam tape. I had to fussy cut the body and stamp just the legs onto the paper.
I used some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Limoncello as accents.

Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit Post 3

Welcome back to the third post featuring the
Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny Card Kit for March.

These next cards are all about featuring that awesome patter paper from Echo Park called "Celebrate Easter" that is provided in the kit.

The sentiments on both were stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink and heat embossed with Recollections Clear Embossing Powder using the Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set that came in the kit

I used the Mojo Monday #443 sketch for the layout. The bunny is water colored using Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Hickory Smoke.
The little heart is colored with a Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker and then I went over it with my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen and coated with Glossy Accents.

I really loved those two background papers and really wanted to show them off.
The bunny this time is colored with Zig Markers and its hard to see in pic but I sprayed some Glimmer Mist on him to had some sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you for Post 4!

Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit Post 2 Watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers

Hey Everyone!

Welcome back to Post 2 of the
Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny March Card Kit.

Today's cards are all about water coloring!

All of the images come from the Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny stamp set that comes in the kit.

I really wanted to play around with those sunglasses that came with the kit. I first stamped the images in Versafine ink and had to do some masking on those eggs to get a stacking effect.

I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush to do all the coloring. I will be honest and I have no clue what colors I used and was just grabbing what I felt would work.

After all the coloring was done I attached the glasses to the top of her head and added glossy accents to the lens and stamped the sentiment from the same set using my Mini Misti since i was terrified of messing up after doing all that coloring.  I cut it out using my fave stitched rectangle die form the MFT Blueprints 13 Dienamics.
I popped it up on foam tape and onto a background using that Echo Park "Celebrate Easter" patter paper in the kit.

This was the first card I did and used the inspiration page in the kit and the card
Debby Hughes made using the kit
I used the same concept as above with stamping and masking to get the stacking of everyone.
I also used the Zig markers for the coloring and popped up on some foam tape to a card base using the New Bright Yellow Simon Says Stamp cardstock .
I finished off with some clear sequins.

Thank you for visiting and see you on Post 3!

Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit Post 1 using Tonic Nuvo Mousse

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today is the first post with the cards I made from the
Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit named Some Bunny.

This kit was so much fun to play with and I made 15 cards over my three day weekend!

Here are all the supplies that came in the kit. There are ton of videos and posts on what came inside so I will not bore you there so lets get into the first 3 of the cards I made.

I used these awesome Tonic Mini Nuvo Mousse and the Simon Says Stamp Oval of Flowers Stencil.

This one above is using the Aquamarine and Pure Platinum Mousse, I started with the aquamarine at the top and blended to the Platinum at the bottom.  The background is pattern paper from the Echo Park "Celebrate Easter" that is included in the kit.
I used a  straight stitch die from the MFT Die-namics Blueprints 13 set to add the detail to the egg panel.  The sentiment came from the kit and is embossed using Ranger Super Fine Detail Embossing powder onto some dark grey card stock from my stash.

I just love pinks and silver/grey together. This time I used the Pure Platinum and Peony Pink Mousse. I used the same method as above but in reverse to have the pink at the bottom.  I love that adorable sheep patter paper as the background. I used the same sentiment as the card before with the same white embossing powder.

I used all three of the mousse colors to make this colorful egg. Again I used the same MFT Blueprints 13 Die for the Stitched background. Sentiment again is from the provided stamp set and I just love that plaid pattern paper for the background.
I also used some Nuvo Jewel Drops in Limoncello, Key Lime and Orange Marmalade.

Thank you so much for visiting and see you next time for post 2 of the card kit!
